Belden Town and the Braatens

Easy morning with the exceptions of lots of blow downs and one hairy snow crossing. I made Belden Town and had lunch at the Belden resort. I started walking to the Bratten's when a truck pulled over in a cloud of dust. I saw a PCT sticker in the window. Magic! It was Ralph Looney, and equestrian and also has taken it upon himself to keep the trail clear from Hwy 70 to Hwy 36. I'll probably see him working in the morning. The Brattens are great. I got to shower and walked to Caribou Crossing to wash my clothes. The Caribou store has really good shakes!
