Mt. Jefferson

Journal Entry

I was kind of doggin it today. I made all of my marks by 10:00, but after that I fell progressively behind. I saw a lot of dayhikers and backpackers today on Mt. Jefferson. The climb out of Jefferson Park was OK as was the snow on the North side of the ridge. A lot of people have been through, so there were no navigation issues. Even though I just bought food, Im underestimating my day food. I got to the campground at Skyline Road and met Yellowstone and Tahoe Dave. The campground is property of the Confederated Tribes of Warmsprings. It was very nice. The bathrooms were clean and there was a place to dump my garbage.
