Leaving Big Bear

Got a hitch back to Hwy.18 at 10:30 and started hiking. It was a pleasant day although windy with a possible storm moving in. You could see the clouds building over the mountains but they were a long way off. Met up with fellow hiker Gelb, and we hiked to Little Bear Springs. The wind was blowing very hard and it was getting colder. It's always fun setting up the tent in the wind. But once setup and inside, its very cozy. The wind blew all night but the tent held up well.
