Weekend in Breck

My wife and I spent the weekend in Breckenridge for the Ice Carving festival. I took the advantage to kick off my training. We snowshoed 6 miles up Boreas Pass on Saturday. The girls went shopping on Sunday, yuk, I decided to climb Quandary Peak which is an easy 14K with only 3K vertical feet in 3 miles. All went good with a 35lb pack, 30 mph winds and 15 degree weather.
