Wind Turbine World
The wind turbines are again ubiquitous along this section of trail. I tried to camp away from them, but when I turned a ridge seeking a flat stop--there they were in all there glory, again, above me. Very noisy like a distant freight train. Camped in a great spot--under an old gray paine surrounded by juicy and tasty Miner's Lettuce. I'm aware of an old ski injury to the inside ligament of my left knee--it's sore. I hope I can work it off. My mistake not breaking in a new pair of insoles--I just jumped in and wore them backpacking!! The yellow wildflowers are so bright they look neon. Constant fitful gushing of the wind accompanies everything. Another dry camp --not much water here even in this wet spring.
