the border!!!!

At 12:00pm, pacific standard time, I reached the United States and Canadian border!!!! When I got to the monument I was surpised to see Justin, my fiance, waiting there. Not even 5minutes later my Dad, sister Kelly, and my cousin Gila all show up. I was surpised to see them being that it is an 8 mile hike from the monument to Manning Park. I was glad they were there to celebrate with me. That 8 miles to Manning Park was the longest ever!

It is surreal to be finished. It doesnt seem that long ago I was starting out in the desert of California....2663 miles flies by when you are having fun, I guess. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I met some amazing people, seen some beautiful sites, visited cute towns, and learned more about myself then I ever could have. The trail is tough, mentally and physically but the rewards make it all worth it.

Some people on the trail are really bummed to be finished. Honestly, I am not sad(it is nice to be out of the cold, wet weather)about this adventure finishing because doing the PCT has opened my eyes to new challenges and opportunities to come in the future.

A big thank you to everyone's support! I could not have accomplished this with out it.
