Across the Meadow (SoCal)

Way, way, way in advance

I figured if I at least started a journal for this trip that I really want to do in 2011 that it is one step towards really making this happen. Let's hope that I don't have to ever delete this journal.
I did a section hike in 2009 of Southern Cali as that was all I could do at the time. Plus, I think it is a good way to give one a good idea of what you are getting into. I am convinced I had done one of the harder sections, which was the desert. I made it all the way to Agua Dulce and had to leave not getting to go on to the Sierras. I have a trail journal in Trail Journals for that section.

So, I am ready to take on the entire 2600+ miles this time, although I am considering skipping the section that I had done. We'll see.

Here's to 2011 with PLENTY of time to train and plan!

(The drawing is one I had done from a photo that I had taken. I had tried to do some artwork during the trip, but there never seemed to be much time)
