Updates!

Hey all, so I want to apologize for not updating my journal here on postholer. I've been keeping my journal up to date on my blog - www.brianroehl.blogspot.com as its easier to manage from my droid. Check it out of you want to see my day by day progress.

Quick summary: entered the sierras May 24, left 8 days later with a stress fracture in my fibula, probably due to carrying excessive amounts of weight (mostly food). I had lost 25 lbs by Agua Dulce while consuming 6,000 cal/day, so my food weight was enormous to try to prevent further weight loss into the danger zone. Spent two weeks recovering, then slowly came back and finished through Tuolumne. Jumped north to Crater Lake and am currently southbound to Castella where I will end prior to returning to school this fall. Its been the trip of a lifetime and I wouldn't change a thing (except perhaps the injury!)
