Pacific Crest Trail Map

End of Hike

I had to brush/scrape off a few pounds of ice off my tent this morning. The weather is cold in the morning but still fairly sunny. It is better than I could have hoped, but my heart just isn't into continuing my hike. I probably was off for too long. I walked the 9 miles along the road back to town from the High Trail Trailhead. It is wide enough to be safe in good weather for hiking. There was ice on the road on the way to the main lodge. This will be my last entry on the trail.
