Down to Beldon
Continued where we left off last night heading down a very rocky, overgrown brush covered trail with dozens of blow downs. It makes for a tough walk even downhill. Went to the Beldon Post Office to pick up our package. Its an old house that reminded me of the 60's with very unique decorations and christmas tree still up. The town setting is very beautiful on the Feather River but the town seems depressed. Carp and Dee picked us up again and we are going home for about 2 days to plan our next move. Snow reports seem more favorable heading North from I-5 than continuing S through Sierras. The next few days we will send our last resupply boxes and hopefully there will not be anymore interruptions. Plan is to to take each day as it comes and not push it. There is plenty of time to get to our destination and enjoying the journey is the most important thing.
