Into Echo Lake

Slept in a little bit since we did not have too far to walk today.

The walk was quite nice...fairly level and mostly downhill. I got into Echo Lake around 9ish and got a ride down to South Lake Tahoe to pick up my packages. The lift was with a thruhiker that had to get off the trail because of a sprained ankle. He was just in the area giving rides to hikers that needed them.

I got back to Echo Lake right when Wolfpacks dad had arrived. Lots of hikers at the store by that time.

Once in Sacramento, we went to a buffet..in the buffet line, an elderly woman asked if we were part of a religious sect or mountain men - because of the beards. Ha!
