Looking for Passenger Seat Companion to ADZPCTKO

Still looking for someone to occupy the front passenger seat as I drive to the Kick Off in April. Planning to leave right after my birthday, take my leisurely time getting down to Lake Moreno, and then if I can find a place to stash my vehicle, hike from Hwy. 74 to Idyllwild - a segment that I skipped last year. I need to be back home mid-May as I've volunteered to be a SAG stop on May 26 in Reith. Pendleton on Wheels sponsors a 3-day bike event over Memorial Day weekend called the CROC (Century Ride of the Centuries). The ride follows little used paved roads past many 100+ year old farms and ranches in Eastern Oregon. Reith is on the way back for riders and I'm told to expect at least 200 for dinner! My theme is the 60's, and I need to order my decorations before I leave. Food will be pretty much what I had at my TA stop last year with the exception of fry bread. I'm subbing in tortilla chips for the taco salads. I prefer to make my food right before the event. That way I can ensure that everything is FRESH.

Retired And Back On The Trail

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, Guinness in one hand, steak in the other, yell 'Holy Sh**, What a Ride!"
