Hitting the trail

Still in Reno, CJ and I will be heading out in the morning going to Soda Springs to pick up the trail.
The Dr. Told me to go to just a half of the water pill instead of the Atenolol which is the actual PB meds. If I still have problems to call back. I have also started taking a potassium supplement which after searching the Internet found I had a lot of symptoms of deficiency and since you get potassium from fruits and veggies I cam see where that would be a problem. Anyway it's back to the trail :) and onward north. It's been great visiting with CJ and she is going to hike out with me tomorrow and spend the night. Then head on to her hike with her friend Rob. She may be able to hike with me further north around Etna I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
I like this section I'm going into from Donner Pass four miles in from the Interstate there is an old house that we will stay in for the night, then go our separate ways me north CJ back to her car. I'll be getting into the river canyon areas now where you can descend several hundred feet cross a river and climb back up the same number of feet, and only progress half mile north as the crow flies.
So tomorrow the " spot" returns.

HIKING 2012

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, Pepsi in one hand, backpack in the other, yellin' "Holy Sh**, What a Ride!"
