Pacific Crest Trail Map
This is my first journal entry for my pacific crest trail expedition, so there's not to much to say and then there's everything to say. I'll just keep it basic so I wont bore you to death, because instead of reading my lame journals you should be planning an adventure of your own. So here is a background on me. I live In the Sunny Los Angeles, CA going to school at Los Angele's City College studing art/design/business. I'm paying the bills by slinging lattes at Starbucks. In my free time I have too many hobbies to list but here is a few; I enjoy playing guitar, sports and outdoor activities, art of all mediums, backpacking, rock climbing, and of course couldn't forget Long walks on the beach.
I'm leaving for My epic adventure In under 7 weeks on May 1st! Im going to try and post as many entries and pic's that i can but Im doubtfull I will post much of them during the actual trip. I will be to busy cooking up grits and oatmeal over an open fire watching the sun splash down over the rocky peaks and so on. Ill try to do my best though and keep as many of you updated as possible. When I get back into civilization again Ill get everything back up to date and such.
I have gotten a lot of new gear for the trip which really gets me psyched. My new Kelty Tactical Eagle Backpack-this backpack is an extention of myself with a massive size capability and rediculous durablility, Grand Mesa Tent which is pretty nice its 3.5 pounds but worth the size and comfort, A MSR whisperlite multifuel stove which is on its way and cant wait to test this out, A katadyn hiker-pro water filter, and a bunch of odds and ends stuff. I pretty much got everything new for this trip because this is going to demand alot out my gear.
AnyWays, Ill keep you updated as I can and Laterzzzzzzzzzzzz
