Pacific Crest Trail Map
Today was just as I remember for the most part. Lots of hiking in and out
of ravines. I forgot about the up that was about an 800 foot climb but that
was good that I did.
I met some new hikers and hiked with them for a while. When I got to the
Third Gate water cache I was suprised that they had moved it. It is now
down the hill off the trail. Elevator will be happy to here this, ha ha.
And there was only Blade and I!
I am now in camp with a lot of the hikers that started out with me. It
rained up in the mountains in the afternoon and there even was some
thunder. I think its suppose to warm up in the next few days. What's funny
is that there are quite a few hikers from the Pacific Northwest that think
its been hot so far on the trail. I myself have been very happy with the
weather. Off to sleep now for an early start tomorrow to breakfast in
Warner Springs which is being put on by the local community. Sounds good.
