Made it to Hiker Town

When I woke up under the picnic table it was freezing like hell. 5:30 in the morning and none of the Church people were up yet. It was just me. I quickly chowed down a Pop Tart and begain packing quickly to avoid getting incredibily cold. I got out at about 6:00 and just rolled down the trail. Because I knew I would make it to Hikertown some time later in the afternoon I could use my phone to listen to music down the trail. Boy was this a good idea. The Hike didnt feel like 20 miles but I sure did do it. 20 miles with one long break in the middle. If I called you on the 9th I called you during my break looking down on the Mojave with 10 Miles to go to 138 and Hikertown.

After the break I felt great and kept jammin down the trail. It really makes me mad sometimes when you hiking like hell and the trail just follows the hardest route possible. There was a straight shot to the road and it with up down and around more mountains and mounds. It made me very tired but I hiked on because of the music, and determined to make it to Hikertown in good time.

I made it there at about 2:00 and was welcomed with a nice Hostel in the garage. It was great getting out of the heat and we later took a run to the Grill/ General Store. They had Great Burgers at reasonable prices. Much better than spending the even 10 dollars at the hostel. I got a sweet double Bacon Cheese burger for like 7 bucks and fries for like 2 so it was great. I passed out on the couch after a few beers I split with Carl and some that were given to me. I was later woken up by the caretaker who wanted 10 dollars out of mee for a room so I got a room and had a great sleep. Hikertown is awesome.
