It's all about food
Day 2 to Laguna is always hot and the trail rocky. And so I finally developed one hot spot on the edge of my heel. I was naive to think I wouldn't get blisters, especially because I was wearing minimalist shoes and partly because I havent thru hiked in over a year. The hot temps and sand killed my feet.All 3 of us were hurtin' em! Take that egos! Fuckin' Merrell trail gloves.
Even so, we arrived to the Mt. Laguna store at 4 pm, an hour before closing. And it was all for the almighty sandwich. Amen.
P.s my backpack is not made from a tarp.
