Back in the Day!

Detailed Plan

"Plans are worthless, but planning is everything"...Dwight D. Eisenhower.

So, below is my detailed plan broken down into milestones...no telling how my "plan vs actual" will work out. Overall, I am going to start slow and HYOH (Hike Your Own Hike). Hike Your Own Hike means to "hike according to your own dreams, goals, expectations, etc., and not have your hike determined by other hiker's expectations. This is your hike. Hike it your way". Feel like going slow? Fast? Waking up early? Late? Skipping lunch? Finding another camping spot? Taking an extra day off? You get it! HYOH.

The detailed plan was completed on Craig's PCT Planner. Awesome website where you can change variables such how fast you want to hike, hours per day hiked, and how you want to account for elevation changes. Then, you can smooth it out. I am basically on a 5-day resupply schedule (with a couple of exceptions). Lori will mail my resupply box in time for me to pick it up...when she remembers :)
