600 miles!

And speaking of poop, a couple days ago I had a hershey kiss variety. Perfectly formed top......but larger of course. To update you on G Dub and the burritos, he says that they have come to an understanding and have parted ways.

The morning trail kicked my ass. Tons of uphill. The sweat was pouring off me in rivulets. To my amazement though, we were hiking up and through forests of pine and oaks. Climbing up a steep road, I passed the 600 mile mark. Pretty exciting! Afternoon spring relaxation again. Good cold water. A ranchero on a horse came by with his dogs looking for some missing cattle. Oh yeah, did I mention that this spring also had tons of cow shit around it?

We busted out a quick 9 miles this afternoon but G Dub's toe was hurting so we set it town early. Had planned on another 5. Camped tonight just the two of us in a beautiful burned area with decomposing granite everywhere.
