Fun Size getting real serious

Pizza Work

Slow morning and much indecision about what to do. After all the evening rain, the morning was quite nice, sunny. The kind of day you would definitely head into the mountains. The dilemma, the next two days are guaranteed rain and snow. So do you head out anyway and hope for the best? Or do you wait a few days and just catch the end of the storm?

Fun Size and Cuddles will wait until at least Monday to head out. The idea being to catch only one day of the storm. And as silly as it may seem, I prefer to be with others as the weather gets bad. Safety in numbers? Maybe. Hopefully.

Great breakfast across the street at the store, a quick cleanup of the hiker hangout, movies, watching waves of hikers rolling in, pizza land.

It's all because of Fun Size. He called the Dinsmores when he was in Skykomish and asked if we could cook some pizzas in their oven. Jerry suggested that we get a pizza order together amongst all the hikers. Well, you guessed it. I somehow got roped into arranging the whole thing. No biggie I guess since it's right up my event planning alley. 9 pizzas later, I had the order complete and phoned in. Then came the beer requests. About 85 dollars later, that purchase was also made. Almost $ 200 of pizza. Hungry hikers. Thirsty hikers.

It's quite a spot here between hwy 2 and the train that goes by. Lots of noise. Maybe you would get used to the train going by at all hours of the night? Another, new crowd of hikers tonight. A fun day.
