East Van
Reluctantly boarded the greyhound bus this morning, leaving my friends for real this time. Hugs and hugs to Canadoug, Toots, Tears and Aloha. The sun was shining and it was a beautiful ride into Vancouver where I met another 2009 PCT friend Alex. I rolled into a bustling metropolis, tracked down some wifi and uploaded my victorious monument photo. Next project was to head into East Vancouver. Ride the skytrain or walk? Definitely walk. Felt good to work the legs a little. They miss the activity. After connecting with Alex, we found a great spot for dinner. I had a wonderful vegetarian pot pie and salad dinner complete with yummy local brews.
