This mornings view from camp
ouch!
We had a good day knocked out 30 miles and still had quite a few breaks. All and all a uneventful but scenic day. The craziest part was we found this nice campsite and I set my pack an trekking poles down and starting putting down our groundsheet as soon as I was settled Vanessa came over and stepped into a yellow jacket nest underground. We ran and luckily they all chased me and got me about 8 times before giving up.. The best part I was able to pick up my backpack, the groundsheet, and my water bottles but I left u trekking poles right on top of their next. I gained my courage up and grabbed my poles without issue. All and all a good day only 35 miles to town and an old fashion soda fountain and a brewery.Goodnight
