Grizzley Pk

Postholer

It rained last night. Good thing I'd put up my tarp. Something about last
evenings sky said rain.

It also rained on us today. Maybe a few hours lightly with about half hour
pretty hard. Guess who sent his poncho home a few days ago.

None of my gear got wet. Except me.

Today was a pretty hike. Good views between showers and the trail is in
great shape. Truly well cared for trail. Thank you to the local crew.

Where we are tonight is a campground. There is like ten thru's here. And
even Mr HalfMile himself. We had a nice chat with HalfMile. He's is
retracking the trail with a fancy new, unique GPS.

Some folks are here to meet their son who is southbounding. Son and friend
are busting out the thirty miles from I-5...today.

Larry and I plan one point five days for that.

So the dad asked me if I'd something from the store!!! After a bit of
stammering I said Cabernet as I know Structure likes a glass of red...and I
like it too.

Dad comes back with wine and ice cream bars.

Did you know a pocket knife and a tent stake can open a wine bottle?

Dad is taking the wine bottle home so I don't have to carry it!

Great day.

I'm cowboy camping and I've had two ice creams and a NICE quantity of
Cabernet.
