I just want to say that the trail work for a long section around Squaw
Creek is excellent. It is so good that a couple of the thru hikers
commented on it.
We are near the top of the ridge before we drop to I-5. Its exciting to
think I am almost done with this years PCT hike.
The highlight of the day was spending about three hours in or near Squaw
Creek. Great creek to sit in on a hot day.
The number of hikers in the creek helps remind one to treat the water. You
never know what's going on up stream.
It was fun being around HalfMile and his wife (?) several times today.
Super nice folks.
He seems to really be enjoying doing a new track of the PCT.
He is using a custom made GPS that's on a pole just above his pack.
Its time for bed.
One last cowboy camp.
