Pure joy

The weather was so good to us during this section. It hasn't rained or snowed! On top of that most of this section has had the most wide open views I've ever seen! The mountains go on forever slowly fading into the sky in all directions.

All day it was so hard to grasp the idea that we'd reach the end. This evening we'd reach the Canadian border and the PCT monument.

I made it. I walked from Mexico to Canada. It's completely surreal. I'm so grateful to be here. It's been the most romantic experience I've ever had. I'm so grateful to my family. To my father and mother. To the weather for giving me an even more perfect day. To Ram for being my motivator, my partner, my entertainer, my audience, and my advisor. I could never have imagined the trail would end more perfectly. It's hard to allow this amount of perfection; standing staring at the Canadian border with Ram next to me. Great weather, amazing wilderness and high quality company. I've never been more happy in my life. I now know what pure joy feels like.

Today is the perfect day to die.
