Ready to Roll
Well, here I sit in the comfort of Jenn & Jim's place, dog-sitting, sorting, testing, packing and planning. And geting more anxious about hitting the trail.
There is more to do before I'm actually prepared but I am feeling ready - as ready as I'll ever be. Probably more ready than I will be after the first few days out there. My expectation is to start gradually, get comfortable - as comfortable as I can get, anyway - and build from there. Start slow, test everything out again, take advantage of frequent resupplies from Anthony and Brandon while I'm in the southern-most portion and build into the high-volume days. Sound like a good plan??
Well, since this is just an initial entry to establish my journal, I'll keep it short and continue the prep work. There's a meal plan to resolve yet this afternoon.
