The date has been set for coming home
Casey has a definite homecoming date and time set. She'll be arriving at SEATAC at a little before 9PM on December 8th. I (Momma Donna) am really looking forward to seeing the whites of her eyes again! She won't have much down time before starting her job at Boeing on the 11th.She spent Thanksgiving with her original hiking partner, Dan, and his family in Alpine, CA. Even though he wasn't able to complete the hike he has been an incredible supporter of Casey's through hiking efforts. I call him Casey's Arch-Trail-Angel.
Casey skipped one section of the trail because of damage caused by wild fires (the trail is closed to all hikers) and I think she skipped the next section because of dangerous freezing fog on the mountain.
