The Plan

So basically I'm flying to Seattle and will meet up with my cus who will take me up to Burlington on the 26th. The following morning my hiking partner (CB) and her dad (EB) will pick me up and cart us to Rainey Pass. We will hike north to Manning park and if there is little to no snow we should be ready for a return trip by the 30th, July 1st at the latest. Then it's a week off because someone is participating in a friend's wedding, and not me. We plan on returning to Rainy Pass on the 7th to continue SOBO. The other nice thing is that CB's dad, EB will be providing trail services with our resupply packages at each of the key locations in WA. Great guy looking out for his daughter.

Thumper's Great Adventure Or Dealing With OCD (4th Attempt)

The Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) is the jewel in the crown of America's scenic trails, spanning 2,668 miles from Mexico to Canada through three western states. It reveals the beauty of the desert, unfolds the glaciated expanses of the Sierra Nevada, and provides commanding vistas of volcanic peaks and glaciers in the Cascade Range. The trail also passes through historic mining sites and evidence of humans endless quest for natural resources. Thousands of hikers and equestrians enjoy this national treasure each year. Some only travel a few miles, while others complete every mile in a single season! (Credit USFS
