Wheeze off the trail. Magee hit a spot of bad weather, and that was the proverbial straw that sucked the camel's milkshake. She's a fairweather hiker and needs her showers and motel rooms too often for an extended trip like the PCT. A delicate English flower, she is. Me, personally, I don't mind stinking or eating garbage or marching on into a white-out. I just want to do a through-hike. Bucket list, you see. So anyway, Campo to Mulkey Pass was it for us. 745 miles. Not bad, but I am already planning to do a solo through-hike next year. That said, I know solo hiking isn't anywhere near as fun as hiking wth company, so if anyone out there reading this is thinking about next year and also wants company, well, here I yam. Holler at me!
