Nice walking down from Patadise to Sandy River, Snickerdoodle leading the way. Sandy River not to difficult a crossing. Muddy Fork more challenging. Long climb up and around Bald Mountain and up to Cairn Bain. Creek before Cairn somewhat difficult, as was the creek after Cairn Basin. Burn area from Dollar Lake Fire starts right as you get to Cairn Basin. Appears Eden Park is in the burn area. Went up to see Dollar Lake,which looks remarkably fine. Got to Elk Cove around 4PM and stopped and camped. Little earlier than normal, but Snickerdoodle is tired. And I am only 1.4 miles from Coe Creek, and I want to cross that in the morning.
