Drought- What Drought
Rain. Hail. Snow. After one day in the rain had to beat a retreat to Truckee to get ano the rain jacket. The old one totally failed. Was soaked.Spent some $ $ but the new jacket is great. Ran into some snow covering the trail. Postholing, kicking in steps, having to relocate the trail after coming off the snow really slowed me down. My first experience in the snow. Some of the place we're a bit interesting to say the least. Slip and it could be 100 or more foot slide. Hope won't have any more of that. Rain is just a pain. Have stayed warm and mostly dry. Tomorrow is forecast for more rain so might hold up here one more day Then weather is forecasted to be clear. But is definitely warmer. Only few days out and my feet are screaming bloody murder.
