Mt. Adams

I had an intentional late start out
of Trout Lake. Made it
To the trail head at 11:30 and started my way towards Mt. Adams. There is a lot of burned out area from a few years ago, but every thing was flowering. That made a difference and an enjoyable hike. What normally would have been shaded by green now afforded good views, though smoky, of Mt. Adams.

I got talked into going a bit farther than my original intent but it was worth it. Killeen Creek is a great place to stop for the night. Spectacular views.

There must be at least 9 tents scattered around this small valley.
