Got Lucky Once .... And Then Again

When I woke up this morning, it dawned on me where I had 'safely' stashed the two zipper pulls that Six Moon Designs had sent me months ago. I should have fixed the net tent then, but I am a world class procrastinator and opted to put them in a safe place til later. Later was today! I had them in a ziplock bag with my small travel notebook in the right hip pocket of my backpack. Now why I didn't remember THAT who knows. It took about 30 minutes of ripping out a couple of seams, getting the new pulls threaded, and sewing it all back up. And voile - magic! That meant we were free to chose any route we wanted. We opted to avoid the high traffic I-5 corridor and go through ID and NV so we could enter CA via I-15. The second break I got was remembering AND being able to figure out how to access Facebook on my cell phone. I'm pretty clumsy with it, but have now posted a few pictures on it. Maybe I'll get better with time or more likely I'll find a young hiker on trail who can show me. The day ended with a great RV park in Garden City ID called the Boise River RV Park. Beautiful park beside the very swollen and a bit over the banks river. Nice people too!
