At work dreaming.....
I work on the road full time for a traveling show. It is safe to say after three and a half years of living out of my suitcase that I am tired of being in a different town every week. But when I think of my upcoming trip it is not exhausting at all. It will be refreshing to get where I need to go on my own two feet. Then at the end of the day feeling a great sense of accomplishment for how far I have come, while maintaining a sincere appreciation of the massive distances I have yet to cover. As work is winding down, dreams of massive valleys and mountains in the distance help to push me through every hour. I have booked my flight to San Diego on April 19th. A friend from college is going to let me stay at her house and then drive me to the trail head. So i guess this is really happening!I have most of the equipment I will need for my hike and should be updating my gear list to completion quite soon.
