Permit approved
Permit is now official, so getting ready for the southern terminus. Looked at an early start date as (1) started prepping with the La Ni?a news - still in the cards - and (2) I'm not doing anything anyways. Retired early from teaching so it's not too bad, especially visiting some trail towns for true zeros and family in the Los Angeles area. Being middle age, figure the less frantic start will minimize a trip ending injury early. Now to ramp up the training and keeping the beer drinking (= not training) down
