Pacific Crest Trail Map

A little about me

I grew up in Orange County California. The day I graduated high school I packed up my car and moved to Washington State while there a friend of mine introduced me to backpacking. We did a couple Backcountry Camp trips and one 50 mile thru-hike. I never did another thru hike until I hiked the PCT in 2016. I did a lot of research online on what I should carry but I still wound up having a very heavy pack. Got rid of a few things but when I left Kennedy Meadows my pack weighed 60 lb carrying enough food to go to Vermilion Valley Ranch with a stop to climb Mount Whitney. It took me a long time to find people to hike with because no one hiked my speed around mile 430 I slowed down a little bit to hike with Platinum and mango but after a while I wound up getting way ahead of them and eventually started to hike with a guy named party boy he was hikeing more my speed we would do 30 40 mile days regularly and our best days being 64 for me carrying a 45lb pack and 67 for party boy carrying a 20 lb pack. Needless to say all I want to do is hike now and this year I'm going to hike the PCT again but with way less weight on my back so I can go much faster and farther.
