The Hike
It"s been a rugged walk through pristine Northern Cascades.Big elevation gains and losses.Three snow fields to climb and cross and hundreds of snow patches.A couple of adrenaline filled afternoons but not overly risky hiking.Just needed to be carefull, watching and carefully placing the feet. The snow is mushy with no need for ice axe or microspikes.Between snow, mud and fording creeks my feet have been wet for days on end.But jaw dropping beauty and of course the walk. I love to walk, that's what I do.
