End of Walk
Developed oblique Tendonitis on the lower leg and gave up walking any further. It came about suddenly two days ago without warning. Had to walk another 40 miles until I arrived at Snoqualmie Pass. Of course it didn’t get better walking that distance. It’s the type of injury that will take a couple of weeks to heal.A little frustrating since I pre-hiked over a thousand miles to prepare for this hike. Maybe it’s because I’m 66 years old , or maybe it’s because as they say “shit happens”.Anyways I’m glad I hiked what I did, seen some great country and meet some fine people. Happy Trails everyone.
