Pacific Crest Trail Map

Day, 123

No, I didn't hike 67 miles. There is a fire detour which I was not comfortable taking so I hitched a ride to White Pass. I got a great ride all the way from Steve and Cherico, had lunch at a beautiful lake in front of the majestic Mt. Adams and got to White Pass by 3 p.m. I picked up my resupply box at the Tracker Barrell and they drove me into the town of Packwood. I found a sports bar to watch the end of the Broncos opening day win over the Seahawks. I ended up sleeping behind a hotel on the grass, cowboy camping until 4 a.m. when I felt a few drops. I had earlier that night met Firefeet and we decided to meet for breakfast at 7 a.m. So I had 2 hours to kill after packing all my gear. A great time to catch up on this journal.
