Getting Home day 2

They were doing some construction in the airport but even though I was able to get at least three hours of sleep. The airport started getting crowded at 4:00 in the morning so I decided I better start the process. I said goodbye to the fellas and checked my backpack. I had to check it because I wanted to keep my pocket knife and although you can take six inch + long knitting spikes (needles) a two inch long blade on a knife is not allowed in carry on luggage. I made it through inspection and then customs quickly enough. I boarded the plane and... there was a bad sensor, or maybe a sensor doing its job so we could not take off and had to disembark the plane. The fellow on the isle seat let almost all the people further back of us off the plane first so I ended up being second to last in the "book a new flight" line. After two hours standing in line I was booked on new flights and now arrive in Sacramento at 9:00 pm instead of 10:00 am. After some food and people watching for many hours I took off to Seattle at 3:10. I arrived in Seattle and, hey lookie there my next flight is delayed. I tried the old, there’s no place like home while clicking my heals together, but it didn’t work. Maybe I should have walked back home as some people suggested. After a long day hanging out in airports I was able to reach Sacramento at 10:00, twelve hours after my planed arrival. Lynn picked me up at the airport and it was great to see my lovely wife. At home my daughter was happy to see me but in the end the one that expressed the most excitement to see me... the dog.
