I fly to Portland in the morning to begin the last 650 miles of my PCT hike, southbound from Cascade Locks to Castle Crags. It's a section I jumped over years ago because of fires and the approaching fall, and didn't get back to sooner because of an injury. I'm excited and a bit anxious to be getting back on the trail after 5 years. Here's hoping my trail zen will kick in quickly!
