Image: Combined MODIS & SNODAS Layers
Process:
Daily Bash script gets MODIS & SNODAS using wget and does all processing. MODIS imagery is stitched together using EOS HEG Tool. 8 days of MODIS layers are merged. Every third day SNODAS is updated. Overlays are created for each image as defined by MapServer .map file and served as WMS.
