Where it all begins.
Below are all (un)protected areas the John Muir Trail traverses. This information orginates or is based on the Protected Areas Database (PAD) v2.1, released September 15th, 2020 provided by the USGS.
Creating the underlying data is resource intensive. This is a recent feature and more trails will be added in the days to come as processing completes.
