Going for a 37 mile hike tomorrow along the San Joaquin River to get ready for the PCT. got to the trailhead at 7 AM took 11 hours of hiking and one hour of breaks for a total of 12 hours to hike the total 37 miles. I carried 25 pounds of sand in my backpack along with food and water for total of approximately 35 pounds .
