Journal Entry

Lulu is now a permanent member of the family. Bonding occurred while attempting to find a new owner, and I just could not part with the stubborn little beast.

My adventure has now been pushed until March of next year. I will use the time until then to continue to train both myself and Lulu. I am still on my first trainer (me), and Lu is on her 4th. Apparently, she had a pretty tough upbringing, and we are working through her anger and self-confidence issues. She won't be going on the hike with me, but she will have a good stable home life while I am away, and she will be safe and happy.

The next 11 months will pass fast. I am sure my journey with Lulu will be no less exciting than my journey on the trails would have been this year.
