The Journey Continues

This year I plan on continuing my thru-hike of the PCT that I had to leave in June of 2005. I'm unsure if I will resume a little north of Kennedy Meadows to somewhere in between Toulumne Meadows. I've hiked as far as Toulumne Meadows, but the High Sierras are amazing and it depends on where I can get back on the trail.

Last Summer Gordie & I hiked the JMT. I felt a strong urge to just continue hiking , but I knew I had missed the window to make it to Canada. Alot was going on with work, so I went home and saved it for another year.

I believe this is the year I will finish the PCT, but one can never tell with me. I seemed to hop around and change my mind from time to time, hence the name "Flippy" suits me well.



UPDATE 1/23/2011 - Someday I plan on going through my journal entries to edit and clean them up, as I wrote brief summaries on the trail on my iPaq, so there's quite a few grammatical mistakes. Also posting more pictures. My goal is to update one entry a day, so it could take a while.
