Drought?

Left Encampment today after enjoying the surreal hospitality from Carl who owns "the Cabin at Riverside." in addition to letting is stay for free he drove us back to the trail. Still we left a donation to show our gratitude.

The up coming stretch to Rawlins has limited water and some of the water sources are sketchy. Now for the crazy part, it rained most of the day. Sweet!!! No only was it cool, but it should help replenish some of the water sources.

Enjoyed hiking with Clutch and Check Express today, a welcome change from hiking alone. Hiking is getting easier, hopefully the "Trail Ferry" (akin to Tooth Ferry) will visit me soon and give me my trail legs.

Nice campsite tonight under the trees next to a stream
