Jasper Terminus
The End
We convoyed to the trailhead where Sye, luka, Alex, Tesha, and Jon will brave the wilderness for five more days. Jasper is the official terminal of the Great Divide Trail, but a few have hiked on to Mt Robson or Kakwa Lake following the lynx route. It is not well maintained since a fire destroyed most of the trail and washed out the bridges. Li was able to get thru though so I have no doubt they will make it. I rode back to Seattle with Jax and Sam. We had a great time seeing the country from the comfort of the car and talking about the meaning of life. A yummy black bean supercrunch burrito and a celebritory Margarita in Bellevue and then crashed at Jax' house. Thank you Jax and Sam. You are so sweet.This is an amazing trail! I highly recommend it.
