Sunday we hiked into Truckee where we were delighted to see CJ and spend a
few hours with her. Eating and doing a little touristy stuff. CJ wont be
hiking with us now but maybe in Oregon. I keep hoping.
Being behind my schedule by 12 days I've decided to catch the Amtrak and
head to Portland to get Washington out of the way before cold weather sets
in then return to Truckee and hike north to finish at Timberline Lodge. So
we are n the train now just about to Portland where Bills mother will pick
us up and transport us to the Lodge. Then back on the trail tomorrow.
