W00T!! Florida trail finished
After a nice zero day I headed out of crestview. Resupplied at walmart on my out. Road walked to Harold where I turned north and rejoined a trail. Camped short of the blackwater river. The next day I crossed the blackwater river as entered the state park. Really cool sp, lots of camping an fishing spots along the river. Ran into a Marine named John Butler who knew the area very well as his ancestors where Creek Indians! He was full of history and great knowledge. I won't forget the hour or so we sat and chatted. I also saw a couple other day hikers, who I walked up on during a make out session. Funny to say the least. Camped out in a nice three sided shelter for the night. Got up early and headed for Alabama! Had a great day. Weather was awesome. Really enjoyed my lunch break at hurricane lake. Finished my Florida trail hike and camped at the Bama border.??
